Open in mapRaanana was founded in 1922 as an agricultural moshava, and in the original plan three streets ran south from Ahuza Street, Rambam, Yehuda HaLevi and Herzl, with plots along them for homes and farming. These streets still exist, and they form the backbone of Center South.
Today it is an established neighborhood undergoing renewal: according to Merkaz HaNadlan, dozens of TAMA 38 projects are under way, and the municipal table lists 94 urban renewal projects in the area. New buildings are rising beside apartment blocks from the 1970s and 1980s, and private houses remain on the quiet streets.

In Center South a building from the 1970s, a new TAMA 38 building and a private house stand side by side, so a neighborhood average says little. The gap between the median apartment in an established building and in a new one is about ₪3,000 per m², so we price according to deals in the same building and on the same street, and according to the state of its rights and renewal.
